In a standing position, place your foot over the foot bed and step down. Be sure that your foot rests within the raised borders of the shoe or sandal. Adjusting To The Foot Bed

Stepping on to the foot beds is only the beginning of the NAOT experience. You are now ready to explore the singular comfort technology of NAOT footwear. As you first stand in your new NAOT shoes or sandals, the foot beds automatically begin a molding process. The molding process allows your foot to nestle into the foot bed, while the foot bed adapts to the specific contours of your foot. As the foot bed massages your foot, nerve ending are loosened and transmit a calm and restful sensation throughout your entire body.

Gradually, a natural balance is established through the molded heel cups and arches that cradle your foot. As this occurs, your weight becomes more evenly distributed within the shoe or sandal. This process takes time. Give the foot beds time to mold themselves to the shape of your foot. Wear your new shoes or sandals for short periods of time during the first few days of use. This will allow the foot beds time to form to the specific features of your foot and provide total comfort for your walking pleasure.

Removable Foot Beds

Instructions

The following instructions will help you take better care of your new NAOT footwear:

• Keep shoes and sandals away from extreme temperatures.
• Keep them dry. If they become wet, wipe dry immediately, and allow the shoes or sandals to air-dry completely.
• If the suede or nubuk leathers become soiled, use the specially designed NAOT brush to remove debris.

Tips

Try removing any minor stains with a mild soap. If the stain persists, consult a local leather repair expert for a professional cleaning product to the leather of the footwear. Test a small, unseen area before using any chemical cleanser on the entire shoe.
